Striking and rare Japanese vertical advertising poster promoting Simple Insurance (Kani Hoken / 簡易保険), a government-backed easy-access insurance system, dating from the late Meiji to early Taishō period (circa 1910s–1920s).

The composition features a young rural working woman wearing traditional farm clothing and a straw hat, standing in a countryside landscape while carrying harvested rice. The image clearly represents female agricultural labor, stability, diligence, and family responsibility — emphasizing the importance of financial security even for ordinary working people.
