In 1953, at the age of 30, he started his apprenticeship under Master Inosuke Kobayashi. He \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eproduced some very rare and exclusive Kokeshi Art where a dialog is formed between the the natural wood gains and the design of the kokeshi. Some of these Kokeshi are very realistic sculptures of ladies or childern.
